Bernie White

Bernie White grew up outside of Starkville, MS on a cattle and tree farm. While interning with Mississippi Extensions Services on their Cotton Scouting Program during college, Bernie made his choice to pursue a career in the agriculture business. Bernie graduated from MSU in 1979 with a B.S. in Agronomy and later went on to graduate with a M.S in Agronomy in 1985. While in college Bernie furthered his knowledge of agriculture as a Research Associate with the MSU Department of Agronomy Cotton Genetics.

After graduating, Bernie worked as the manager for Variety Evaluations with MSU Research Support for 12 years. In 2009 Bernie came to work for Southern Ag as a Field Consultant. He was named Oktibbeha County Woodland Conservationist of the year in 2005. He currently works in Noxubee County in MS and Pickens County in AL.
