Agriculture is deep rooted in Boyd Anderson’s life. Growing up and working on his family’s corn, soybean, and cattle farm in Okolona, Mississippi. His parents made him pursue a college degree. In pursuing a degree, he wanted to stay in agriculture and build on the knowledge he had from working on the farm. In 2017, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Pest Management. Boyd interned with Southern Ag under the supervision and training of Wes McPherson, Southern Ag’s finest in 2016 and 2017.

Boyd joined the Southern Ag Team in the Fall of 2017. From there he has, also, trained with Patrick Garrard and Bernie White, two more of Southern Ag’s finest, while building up his own acres.
