Bill McRight grew up in a farming community in Greenville, MS. He always had a love for working outdoors and fell in love with the ag business at an early age. After graduating high school in 1986, he attended both Mississippi Delta College and Delta State University. During his college years, he worked part-time for his uncle’s business, McRight Services (now Delta Ag), where he sold crop supplements and began his consulting career. After attending college, he started working full time at McRight Services, where he continued for almost 10 years. In 1997, Bill started working at Jimmy Sander’s Inc., another crop services company, where he continued until 2015.

In April 2015, Bill joined Southern Ag and continues to use his 30 years of crop consulting experience and work ethic to help farmers. He is a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) for Mississippi, as well as internationally. Bill consults in the South Delta region and currently lives in Vicksburg with his wife. In the few hours that he is not working, he enjoys hunting and fishing.
