Ross Jernigan grew up in Greenville, MS. He went to work for Jason Fratesi in 2015 and knew he wanted to be a consultant. After going off to college, he did an internship with Southern Ag working with soil moisture sensors and precision ag trials. In 2019, he started working for Keith King, another consultant at Southern Ag. After graduating in 2020 from Mississippi State University with a BS in Agronomy concentrating in integrated crop management, he continued working for Keith while picking up a few acres of his own.

Ross officially began working for Southern Ag Consulting in 2020 and currently is a cotton, corn, peanuts, soybeans, and sesame consultant. He currently consults around Lake Village and Montrose, AR; Arcola, Greenwood, and Holly Bluff, MS; and Mer Rouge and Epps, LA
