Ryan grew up in Hernando, MS working on a small farm there in north MS.  He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2013 with a degree Agricultural Engineering Technology and Business. 

From there, Ryan spent time working with ag retail and later a local John Deere dealer as an agronomist supporting various precision ag platforms and technologies.  Eventually, he went on to work for Pioneer Hi-Bred as a Field and Sales Agronomist in north Mississippi and southwest Tennessee.  Following his stint with Pioneer, he went back to the family farm for a year before starting with Southern Ag in January of 2024.

Ryan lives in Hernando, MS with his wife Laura and 2 children Jack and Annie Mills.  During his spare time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, hunting, fishing, and just about anything else outdoors.
