Tanner Lloyd graduated from Mississippi State University in the Fall of 2018 with a B.S. in Agronomy with a concentration in Integrated Crop Management. While in school he began to gain field knowledge and experience through internships with Bayer Crop Science in 2017 and Nutrien Ag Solutions in 2018. In January of 2019, he began working as an Agronomist for John Deere. While with John Deere, he became very familiar with multiple data platforms and very proficient with precision ag technologies.
Tanner joined the Southern Ag team in March of 2021, where he focused on Precision Ag Service, Data Analytics, and VRT Seeding and Fertility recommendations. While still aiding on the precision ag side of our business, he has evolved into a Crop Consultant in Northwest Mississippi. He obtains consulting licenses in Plant Pathology, Entomology, and Weed Control. Tanner is also a Certified Crop Advisor(CCA) in Mississippi.
Tanner grew up in Hernando, MS and now resides in Senatobia, MS with his wife Nicole, son Case, and two daughters Tatum and Mabry. While not working, Tanner enjoys spending time with family, friends, and hunting.
