Wes McPherson’s love of agriculture started at a very young age when he grew up on his parent’s farm in Inverness, MS. His love of farming and desire to help other farmers led him to pursue a career in Agriculture at Mississippi State University where he graduated with his Bachelors in Integrated Pest Management in 2009. Wes worked throughout his sophomore year at the MSU Entomology Department and began working for Southern Ag in his junior year. He went on to pursue his Masters and graduated with a degree in Entomology in 2012. Wes is, also, a Certified Crop Advisor.
Some crop consultants merely have a degree in ag, but little knowledge of farmers. Wes, however, thoroughly understands the farming industry and is able to help you make the best decision. Wes currently lives in Indianola, MS and does most of his work in the Sunflower and Humphreys counties.
When not working Wes is spending time with his family; wife Lynde and children Massey, Henry and Hazel. They enjoy spending time at home helping tend to all of their farm animals. Wes enjoys hunting hogs, ducks, deer, and squirrels. Call Wes if you have a hog problem, he has good dogs.
